A lessonplan for Italian students of English from Paola Gaianigo.
The unit is cross-curricular in so much as its themes will also be dealt with by the Italian teacher. He/she will deal separately with the Vajont disaster on 9th October 1963 in Italy, using the film “Vajont” and the book “Sulla pelle viva” written by the journalist Tina Merlin.
Cultural: basic geographical and historical notions about the British Isles and the United States.
Linguistic: past tenses and time phrases.
